About Ada

Little Ada's journey began in Romania, where she was the sole survivor or a tragic accident. Her mother and siblings were heartbreakingly killed by a train, leaving Ada injured and unable to use her lower back and hind legs. Despite her devastating start, Ada's story took a brighter turn when a kind passerby found her, cared for her, and helped her learn how to move around by dragging herself along.

Today, Ada is living a happy and fulfilling life with her wonderful friends at Oskar's Disabled Dogs (ODDS). Under the loving care of Jo and Dave, she receives all the love, comfort, and attention she could ever need. Since settling into her new home, Ada has blossomed Into a confident, playful little dog. She's found her voice, barking and playing joyfully with her new friends, and she's even learned to use her special wheels to zoom around and enjoy her newfound freedom.

Ada is affectionate, spirited, and full of character, a true inspiration to everyone who meets her. She shares her home with Oskar and 15 other rescued brothers and sisters. Oskar, who has doggy cerebral palsy (a neurological condition rather than a physical one). is the namesake behind ODDS. Among Ada's new friends are Toby and Stella, two recent rescues whose urgent need for life-changing surgery inspired the creation of Oskar's Disabled Dogs.

ODDS is a non-profit organisation dedicated to giving disabled and injured dogs a second chance at life. Every penny raised goes directly toward the care, treatment, and happiness of Ada and her friends.
